When it comes to these extreme macro photos I think from experience that everyone sees something different, which is a good thing. The way we perceive art is often a very personal thing.
This one to me makes me think of an ocean at sunset, soft waves washing upon the shore, the entire sky drenched in hues of pink and apricot as the sun sets.
As I said, everyone takes something different with them from this kind of picture.
