Biography of Wolfgang

Wolfgang grew up in Adelaide, South Australia, where his parents instilled in him a love of the bush and natural surroundings. After leaving school in 1993, Wolfgang travelled and worked his way through much of Australia. During this time he pursued his love of rock climbing and caving which brought him even closer to nature and started an interest in capturing the beauty around him.

When Wolfgang's brother brought him a manual SLR camera, photography started to become life. Wolfgang would go out venturing and come back with rolls of unique images that, with a little encouragement from friends, lead him into a career as a professional photographer.

Wolfgang now lives in Tasmania and is passionate about his beautiful island home. He sells his work each Saturday at the Salamanca Market in Hobart and selected images are on display at Russ J. Wheeler Art Framer in Hobart.
